Upstairs

The upper level is given over to four bedrooms, set deliberately apart from the main living space so the sleeping quarters stay calm and private. Every room has a portable heater and ceiling fan, with bedding that flexes to suit families and groups of all sizes.

In its standard set-up the home offers seven beds sleeping nine; with up to four additional single trundle beds it stretches to a maximum of thirteen guests. The level is served by a full bathroom with shower over the bath, a separate shower room, two toilets, and a laundry with washing machine, dryer and basin.

Downstairs

The heart of the home is a light-filled, open-plan living area wrapped in glass, with uninterrupted views out over the ocean and across to Lorne Pier.

The fully equipped kitchen includes a dishwasher, oven, stove, microwave and fridge, alongside a Nespresso machine, slow cooker and rice maker — and opens onto a dining table for ten, with three more seats at the breakfast bar. Large leather sofas gather around the fireplace beneath a smart TV and Bluetooth speaker, while split-system heating and cooling and a ceiling fan keep the room comfortable in every season.

When the screens go off there's a well-stocked shelf of board games, puzzles, books, CDs and DVDs to fall back on — and with the bedrooms tucked away upstairs, the living space can stay lively without disturbing anyone turning in early.

Outdoor Living

Glass doors open straight from the living area onto the main deck, where outdoor lounges, sun loungers and a dining setting make the most of the view. A Weber gas barbecue and a hot-and-cold outdoor shower round out the space for long summer afternoons.

Tucked beneath the deck is a shaded second retreat — extra seating that's ideal for the kids, a second outdoor shower, and a cone chair and hammock made for a slow afternoon read.
